Tacos y Tequilas Cantina — Burgundy Polished Concrete Dining Floor
Naples, FL 3,500 sq ft Concrete Polishing • Decorative Acid Stain • Quartz Epoxy Kitchen
A 3,500 sq ft restaurant build-out in Naples combining a one-of-a-kind burgundy stained polished concrete dining room with a quartz epoxy commercial kitchen — the right system for each space.
The Challenge
The owners wanted a dining floor with real character that could survive heavy restaurant traffic, dropped dishes, and daily cleaning — without the maintenance cycle of tile and grout. The kitchen needed a completely different system: non-slip, seamless, and built for grease, heat, and health inspections.
Our Solution
- 1Diamond grinding of the bare slab to remove construction residue and open the surface
- 2Burgundy acid stain applied to the dining area — the color reacts chemically with the concrete for a rich, variegated finish that will never peel
- 3Lithium silicate densifier and progressive polishing passes for a durable gloss
- 4Stain-guard burnished in for spill protection in a food-service environment
- 5Quartz epoxy broadcast system installed in the commercial kitchen — slip-resistant and compliant for food service
The Results
- A dining floor that doubles as the design centerpiece of the restaurant
- Zero coating on the dining slab — nothing to chip, peel, or delaminate
- Kitchen and dining each got the correct system instead of a one-size-fits-all coating
- Simple maintenance: dust mop and neutral cleaner
