Polyaspartic Floor Coating in Naples, FL
Polyaspartic flooring that cures in hours, never yellows and laughs at hot tires
The polyaspartic floor coating is the finish layer that makes a Florida floor last — and it is standard on every flake, solid-color, quartz, pool deck and commercial system EpoxyArt33 installs over a 100% solids epoxy or moisture-vapor-barrier base. One-day garage floors, pool decks and commercial floors across Naples and Southwest Florida.
What Is a Polyaspartic Floor Coating?
Polyaspartic is an aliphatic polyurea — a fast-curing, UV-stable resin developed for bridges and industrial steel before it moved to concrete floors. Compared with a standard epoxy topcoat it cures in a fraction of the time, stays crystal clear under sunlight, bends instead of cracking as the slab moves, and resists abrasion and chemicals far better.
The catch: polyaspartic alone is not the best base coat for Naples slabs with moisture vapor and hairline cracks. That is why our standard system pairs a 100% solids epoxy or MVB primer base (adhesion, moisture tolerance, crack bridging) with a polyaspartic topcoat (UV, speed, hot tires). Why Polyaspartic Flooring Wins in Southwest Florida
100% UV-stable
Never yellows or chalks under Naples sun — ideal for garages with glass doors, lanais and pool decks.
1-day installation
Cures in hours, not days. Walk on it tonight, park on it in 48–72 hours.
No hot tire pickup
Handles 140°F+ tire temperatures from cars coming off I-75 without softening or peeling.
Chemical & stain resistant
Oil, brake fluid, pool chemicals, salt and fertilizer wipe right off the sealed surface.
Flexible & abrasion resistant
Moves with your slab through Florida heat cycles and shrugs off abrasion 3–4× better than epoxy topcoats.
Any finish
Clear high-gloss over Torginol flake, satin for interiors, or textured slip-resistant for wet areas.
Our 1-Day Polyaspartic System
Every layer is installed by our own certified crew — no subcontractors, no shortcuts.
- 1
Moisture test & diamond grinding
We test vapor emission and grind the slab to a CSP 2–3 profile. Prep is 80% of a floor that lasts.
- 2
Crack & spall repair
Polyurea crack filler and fast-set patching, feathered flush before coating.
- 3
100% solids epoxy or MVB base
Tinted base coat that locks into the open concrete and blocks moisture vapor.
- 4
Full-rejection flake broadcast (optional)
Torginol flakes broadcast to full coverage — Comet, Tropical Breeze, Tidal Wave and 15+ blends.
- 5
Scrape, vacuum & polyaspartic topcoat
Clear high-build polyaspartic, back-rolled for uniform gloss. Walkable in hours.
Where We Install Polyaspartic Coatings
Our rule: polyaspartic on every system, unless the system calls for something better
Flake, solid color, quartz, pool deck and commercial floors always get a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. The exceptions are deliberate: designer metallic floors can be sealed with Smith's MCU-60 high-gloss polyurethane for maximum depth (the finish used on our 1,000 sq ft White Pearl commercial project), commercial kitchens get a high-wear urethane topcoat or a full urethane cement system, and polished concrete is densified rather than coated.
Garage floors
Full flake polyaspartic garage floor — our most-installed system in Collier County.
Pool decks & lanais
Cool-to-the-touch, slip-resistant, UV-proof finish for outdoor living.
Commercial & retail
Fast cure means overnight installs with zero downtime for your business.
Interior metallic floors
Polyaspartic or Smith's MCU-60 polyurethane topcoat protects 3D metallic designs — the one system where we sometimes choose a different finish.

Polyaspartic Floor Coating FAQs
What is polyaspartic floor coating?
Polyaspartic is an aliphatic polyurea topcoat that cures in hours instead of days, is 100% UV-stable (it never yellows in Florida sun), resists hot tire pickup and chemicals, and stays flexible as the slab moves. At EpoxyArt33 we use it as the finish coat over a 100% solids epoxy or MVB base for the best of both worlds.
Is polyaspartic better than epoxy?
For the topcoat in Southwest Florida, yes: polyaspartic wins on UV stability, cure speed and hot tire resistance. For the base coat, 100% solids epoxy still offers the best adhesion and moisture tolerance on Naples slabs. That is why our standard system is an epoxy or MVB base plus a polyaspartic topcoat.
How much does polyaspartic floor coating cost in Naples?
The polyaspartic topcoat is included in every EpoxyArt33 system, so you pay the system price: full-flake garage floors run $6–$10 per square foot installed (about $2,700–$4,500 for a 450 sq ft 2-car garage), solid color $4–$7, quartz $10–$15 and pool decks or lanais $8–$12 per sq ft depending on texture and repairs. How fast can I use my floor after a polyaspartic coating?
Most Naples garages are installed in one day. You can walk on the floor in 4–6 hours, move items back in 24 hours, and park vehicles in 48–72 hours.
Does polyaspartic flooring work on pool decks and lanais?
Yes. Because polyaspartic is UV-stable and flexible, it is ideal for outdoor and sun-exposed concrete. We add a slip-resistant texture for pool decks so the surface stays safe when wet.
Does polyaspartic coating yellow or peel in Florida?
No. Unlike standard epoxy topcoats, polyaspartic is aliphatic and does not amber under UV. Peeling comes from poor prep, not the product: we diamond-grind every slab to a CSP 2–3 profile and moisture-test before coating, which is why we back residential installs with a lifetime warranty.
